What We Do

The Phoenix Study Center falls under the umbrella of the international Theosophical Society (Adyar, India) and the Theosophical Society in America, and as such subscribes to the mission statements of those organizations.

In creating the vision for our study center, we first considered that the Theosophical Society sits upon a three-legged stool of Study, Meditation, and Service. It is upon these "three legs" that the structure for our center exists. Additionally, all programs are planned in alignment with the Three Objects of the Society.

We are committed to offering:

(1) Public programs including lectures based on a wide variety of theosophically related topics

(2) Member meetings and activities designed to encourage meditation and esoteric study

(3) Service projects chosen annually to benefit our community and state. We maintain a member liason with the Theosophical Order of Service . Through study, meditation, and service, our purpose is to foster in-depth exploration in support of the journey of self discovery and transformation.

Our Key Focus Areas are:

(1) Programs: provide programs based on esoteric studies and theosophical related subjects

(2) Public Outreach and Relations: reach out to the greater Phoenix community in an effort to raise awareness of our existence and our programs

(3) Membership: welcome all those who are in sympathy with the Three Objects and would like to study, fellowship, and participate as a member

(4) Service: dedicate our time and resources to service projects determined by the group to benefit our community and state.
